Congrats on the Rice offer. I am in a similar boat myself. I was pretty set on my offer from Emory but Rice gave me an offer that might be hard to turn down which I didn't really expect. Since I want to work in Finance post-grad (in the South/Southwest), Rice might end up being my choice. I was extremely impressed when I visited the school and really liked Houston. After looking at the companies recruiting Rice grads and looking at the compensation numbers, I would say their rankings are unwarranted and recruiters seem to view Rice as more of a school in the high-teens/low-twenties.

Wow, they're releasing a lot of decisions today. Congrats to everyone. I've gotten my first two acceptances the last two days and I'm thrilled.
The admissions officer told me that I'd have until Feb 15th too, and that I'd have a scholarship decision by then.
