I have been busy all morning and this is the first time I checked it all morning. Still nothing but now that I am taking a break from working on my house I am sure I will be checking it every 3 seconds.

Agreed. I think I'm going to spray a little WD-40 on my F5 key to prepare it for being pushed over 10,000 times this week.

Relax and take it easy. You have 50% probability of being admitted - either you are in, or not :) So, knowing the result 2 hours earlier doesn't change much, except that you would miss a lunch with an amazing girl, staying at home with gmail page :)

How come? If 7500 people apply and there are just 900 seats at HBS, obviously your chances are far less than 50%.

This was a nice joke about a blonde girl and theory of probability - she was asked about the probability of meeting a dinosaur the same day - she replied that 1/2 - either meet it or not.

Just now, my friend, who is also blonde said that there is also third option - a dinosaur will pass at her back and she won't see it.

I looked up to see my Gmail inbox reading (1), got all excited. Switched to that tab and it was just generic spam from Vanderbilt. Blah.

I've pretty much decided if I don't hear anything by the end of this week I'm just gonna forsake the MBA, and move to Seattle with my girlfriend and try to get a job with Nintendo or Amazon.

I'm applying to my backup backup plan...

And then if I don't here anything else, I think I'm just going to migrate to Australia. (my backup backup backup plan). I'm pretty sure it's much easier to get into Australia than it is to get into b/school.

Which part of Australia are you in? I'll probably head off to Melbourne. But Sydney sounds tempting though. I've been told that Sydney has more job opportunity too.

well if this whole b-school idea doesn't work out, maybe i'll move up to Nashua, get a nice little spread, get some sheep and tend to them.
