Contrary to the existing beliefs here that Kaplan tests show a low score, i have a different question 
I have access to the Kaplan new GMAT premier 2013 tests, which i got free along with the book and have scored the following:
740 (Q 51 V 40) (converted the percentiles to scores)
720 (Q 50 V 39) (converted the percentiles to scores)
But when i saw at the number of incorrect answers, i am doubtful about the scores.
Do the Kaplan tests inflate our scores?
Also are they Adaptive?
Need some sincere advice as to how should i believe the Kaplan CAT scores.

Kaplan scores are generally lower than the actual GMAT score.

I do not have acess to the Kaplan new GMAT premier 2013 test, so I cannot be sure of this for their latest tests.
But historically Kaplan's scores underestimate your level.
And yes, they are adaptive
My advise is: take those test just for the questions. Use GMATPrep as score estimator only

I think that was the previous notion, now they give you higher than you should get (my perception though)
And as far as being adaptive are concerned, i saw that there were 10 medium questions in the starting followed by high level questions.
So i believe that i should follow your advice and just solve them for the questions without paying much heed on the score..
