I still get confusing between B and D. How do I know when I can use the causal relationship?

B nearly expected that it will triple by the end of the decade, thus delivering : nearly expected is incorrectly used. expectation and nearly should not be used together as both of these words convey the same meaning.
C expected that it will nearly triple by the end of the decade to deliver : Use of IT is ambiguous.
D expected nearly to triple by the end of the decade and thus to deliver : CORRECT
E expected nearly to triple by the end of the decade, which would thus be delivering : too wordy
