Hi ALL,
I come here to ask for advice. The following is my situation:
I quit my full-time job in consulting in 2022/9 and then join a DAO.
Different from the traditional company, DAO is a decentralized autonomous organization in WEB 3.0 that does not have a registered company entity, meaning it can't provide me with employment certificate. This DAO has no registered company entity. We launched products recently and let other DAOs try our product for free. If they are interested, we will then register an entity to sign contract with them.
We work in a freelance model and has a grade system. If the person joins a product project and the product win a prize from a competition, he can get grades and exchange the grade for cash from the competition. If the person works in an operation initiative, we record each member’s contribution. In the future when FreeBe makes money, it will allow the exchange from grade to cash. I work in the operation so my salary is 0.
in this situation, shall I include this experience as my current job in the working experience part in the online application form and resume?
or shall i still use my consulting job in the most recent working experience and use the optional essay to explain this DAO experience as what i do during a gap? I am worried if i put this DAO experience in the working experience part in the online application form and resume but i can't provide traditional employment certificate, i may not pass the background check after passing the interview. is it a concern? i have other documents such as website, product demo to prove this experience.
