No this is a misconception actually. These schools prefer candidates who can show that they can adjust very well and comfortably to a diverse classroom. A one year MBA is like a roller coaster ride :) . The fomo and peer pressure is real .. hence the schools try to gauge your resilience and commitment to contributing actively in a diverse classroom.

ISB is a great school. You can also apply for executive MBA at IIMA , B, C or INSEAD, HEC . The kind of roles you get recruited to take into account your seniority and years of pre mba work experience .


Do Insead & HEC prefer candidates only with international exp ? if i dont have one - Will they still consider me - As per previous feedback this is considered very very difficult.

How are the scholarships opportunities there - on Average how much is offered ?for both Insead & HEC. .

Also do you have any recommendations from any APAC schools which prefer 35+ candidates ?

Also i have heard -IIM B does not prefer candidates beyond 12 yrs exp - is that true ?

I am not aware about the scholarships at HEC, but for Insead the scholarships can go upto 35000Euros depending on what round you apply to, how strong your profile is, or how genuine your need fir the scholarship is.

No I don’t think rejections happen only on the basis of age. The overall fit of the profile is always taken into perspective before adcom makes any decision.
