You must have clarity on the geography you want to work in. A lot of my Indian INSEAD friends moved back to India right away and found great jobs here. Again as I said before- networking is key. India is a very competitive market and you also need to have a very strong grasp of your subject matter. There may be a few compromises you need to make in the short run, but you will get where you want to be eventually

Hi @MBAGuide, I am also from the Automotive field with 2 years of experience. Just wanted to know that (1) which schools did you apply to? (2) Why did you choose INSEAD. (3) How likely is it that INSEAD will accept someone with 2 years of experience. (4) If you were in INSEAD France, how difficult is it to explore a career in France (5) And if someone does an MBA abroad, what are your tips if they want to come back to India for career opportunities? Apologies for so many questions, but I am new to this forum and just started planning.

No this is a misconception actually. These schools prefer candidates who can show that they can adjust very well and comfortably to a diverse classroom. A one year MBA is like a roller coaster ride

. The fomo and peer pressure is real .. hence the schools try to gauge your resilience and commitment to contributing actively in a diverse classroom.

ISB is a great school. You can also apply for executive MBA at IIMA , B, C or INSEAD, HEC . The kind of roles you get recruited to take into account your seniority and years of pre mba work experience .
Do Insead & HEC prefer candidates only with international exp ? if i dont have one - Will they still consider me - As per previous feedback this is considered very very difficult.
