A Watching TV burns more calories than sleeping. This shows TV viewing may not be as harmful/inactive as the argument assumes. Therefore, reducing TV may not necessarily reduce obesity. ✅ Weakens
B More fast-food restaurants could contribute to obesity, but this doesn't show that TV doesn't contribute to obesity. There could be multiple causes. ❌
C Says people watch more sports than cooking shows. This doesn't tell us whether TV causes obesity. ❌
D TV viewing also increased in Japan. Japan's TV habits don't tell us whether reducing TV in America would reduce obesity. ❌
E More junk-food advertisements on TV could actually explain why TV contributes to obesity: TV → junk-food ads → eating → obesity. So this can support the argument. ❌
