Hi All,

I am currently preparing for GMAT and will be working on School Applications and essays once I am done with this so I just wanted some thoughts from the experienced guys that normally on Avg how many days does it take to put together a school Application including Essays and everything for 1 particular school(considering I will be having full whole day to work on Apps)
Will really appreciate if you can share your thoughts regd same.Thanks a lot

Hello

Depending on the schools you are applying, you will have multiple essays to complete. Even if you have a full day to complete your application work, you will not be able to complete your essays in one go. They will require considerable thought and time and comprehensive research about your target schools. Once you have drafted your essays, the polishing will again take a lot of time as you would have to take the opinion of a number of people to know how your essays are perceived. There would be large chunks of time when you wouldn't be working on them at all as you would be exhausted of ideas. So I would say at least 2 - 3 weeks to finish an application that has two essays. this obviously excludes the time required to work on your resume/ CV etc.

Once you are done, make sure you get a final opinion from the alumni of your target school.
