Its really disheartening to read such debriefs .. if the proctor mentioned that it is a GMAC issue for that time slot then the exam should had been cancelled ...
hopefully people at GMAC will look into your case and would provide you with a re attempt..
all the best for your exam.. :)

I booked to sit GMAT Online two weeks ago and was unable to get more than 4 questions in before my exam was cancelled as the lag to click on the answer and click next was so bad. The proctor said this was a GMAC issue affecting everyone on that time slot. I emailed in and received a voucher so scheduled to sit a week later (I was only given an online voucher good for two weeks). I sat this and experienced the same issue. The proctor appeared to have left the room and I was speaking at the camera for several minutes asking for help with the technology issue and eventually asking to cancel the exam before I got any response, it then took at least another 10 minutes for the proctor to cancel, during which time the exam software flicked back and forward between questions. Over a week since that second attempt I am still waiting for a response from GMAC. I have missed several opportunities to register for a test centre exam during that time as I do not want to spend another $400 (AUD) on another attempt when I have not been able to complete an exam yet. I have now lost access to the GMAC website (an error message shows when I attempt to access on it, despite trying on multiple devices and internet connections and not having any issues with other websites). I have emailed GMAC on this as well and received no response.

This has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience and I would tell anyone to save themselves this and do not touch the online GMAT option. It's not worth your energy or the money you'll waste (I've now been paying for longer TTP access because my exam has been delayed, ie hundreds more of unnecessary spending that I bet GMAC isn't going to reimburse me for).
