I have submitted two recommendations, one from my boss, and one from my colleague. One of my clients is the VP of an automobile company (like Ford, Toyota) . Though he cannot comment on my growth, he can recommend me as a leader with major leadership qualities. Should I send his letter as third reco ? Is it ok to do so, with Babson particularly asking only two.

I know that some schools specifically say they do not accept additional letters of recommendation (usually on their FAQ website). Since Babson does not explicitly state this anywhere, I'd say it's safe to submit the letter. You should probably have your third recommender send it through the post office and not submit it through the Babson Bridge system.

Aringo has some good tips regarding extra recommendation letters here: https://www.aringo.com/emails/emailExtraRecs.htm

Good luck!

Hi All, I have been admitted to the Class of 2015 and decided to join. After I paid my deposit amount, I was given access to the LinkedIn group for Class of 2015. I am eager to connect with all those who are joining.

Hi

I have been invited for the interview.

Fingers crossed.... can have some pointers pl.

Also even after they have requested for interview and I have confirmed the date, i received a mail which says there are still some things missing from the application.

Is it a system generated mail ?

Thanks

Interview is just a part of your application so I think it is important to get clarification on the missing components.
Just call the graduate admissions office to clarify things.

My interview went smooth and lasted for about 45minutes. It was conversational with mostly routine questions about goals, why babson etc.
However there were some specific to work experience and entrepreneurial attitude.

Hey,

Wondering if anyone went to the welcome day last week for those who already decided on Babson from round 1? Wasn't able to make it. Just want to see if anyone is willing to share their visit. Thanks.

the results are suppose to be out in about a weeks time and still see people being interviewed. . . . good sign or bad ??

Anyhow its been over 15 days and the wait before the decisions is excruciating.

haha thanks Akshat !!

If there can be any cue for the interview, my interviewer told me that "whatever you are saying I can so relate to that because I was in the same field as you are" !! Hope thats a positive :?: :!:

ankit,

I totally understand how you feel. It was the same nerve-wrecking wait for me too during R1. Just want to wish you the best and encourage you to go out and get your mind off this! It will make the wait less excruciating. Please keep us posted on your results!

Best,
-D

PS. I dont think having people interview so late is any indication of the quality of R2 applicants if that is what you are referring to. It could simply be some people are not able to schedule earlier time slots. I recall selecting one of the last interview slots available due to traveling reasons. So no worries, if there are any! :-D
