I was in the process of posting that I have the same "summer waitlist" message on my account when admissions called me to tell me that I'm in.

So I think it may be some type of mistake, and doesn't mean that you've been re-waitlisted just yet.

Yeah mine also changed back. Just when I had resigned myself to the summer waitlist, they pull the letter and renew the hope. This is especially cruel if I end up re-waitlisted tomorrow.

I'm based in NYC and did the following:
-very plain video (me talking in front of a camera for 90 seconds, divided into three sections on why Booth is right for me)
-GLOWING recommendation letter from a previous supervisor (honestly makes me wonder why I didn't use them as my primary rec for Booth)
-an update letter I cobbled together highlighting my recent achievements (I freaked out when I discovered an egregious typo in the very last sentence, but it worked out!)
