I just noticed a strange status update dated May 1. Do other people also have this update?

Call at 3:30 PM, NYC time. I just checked my status online and it still has the waitlist letter from March 21. The lady who called me said the official acceptance letter would be on the website tomorrow.

Columbia vs. Booth is going to be a pretty difficult decision. From your post, I'm not exactly sure which way you're leaning -- could you be a little more direct please? :)

I have to make the same decision . . . not an easy one. How are you leaning?

I'm leaning toward Chicago, but it really is a tough decision since CBS offered me a small scholarship. My immigrant parents made note to tell me that I should just go to Columbia, because they've "never heard of the University of Chicago... what is that?" I'm 25 and not looking to prove myself to my parents though, so I'm disregarding that piece of advice.

What about yourself?
