When I log into my application, it still says that my last update is dated March 21st...however, the letter has changed...
I didn't get an e-mail about it, and I didn't think they were sending out waitlist notifications today (though, I didn't get a notification either).
Very odd. Anyone else? I tried calling admissions to ask about this, but no one answered.
Thank you for applying to the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Full-Time MBA Program. Your application has received the careful consideration of our Admissions Committee. While we are impressed with your application, we are unable to provide you with a final decision at this time and will place you on our waitlist for further consideration. I want to assure you that being placed on the waitlist signals our sincere interest in your candidacy.
This year, our admissions process was highly competitive. While Chicago Booth is grateful to have so many talented students seeking to join us in Fall 2012, we were simply not able to admit all of our most qualified candidates during Round 3. At this time, we would like to keep you on our waitlist for consideration during the summer months. During the summer months, the Committee will continue to review waitlist candidates for admission as spaces become available in the Class of 2014. While we hope to enroll as many waitlist candidates as we can, the possibility does exist that some applicants will remain on the waitlist throughout the summer.
We will open enrollment to the waitlist on Monday, May 21st. You can accept or reject your position on the waitlist by completing our Waitlist Response Form which will be sent via email and displayed on your application status page at that time.
Please contact our office directly via e-mail with any questions or updates you may have. We truly appreciate your patience during this process and wish you all the best.
