Eh I submitted my app 1/3 and got interview invite 1/9; interviewed 1/21 on campus w/ student. Frankly not sure how I got one; I peg my chance at 0.6% chance of admission, so don't worry to all those who are waiting for an invite; I'm sure you'll be getting one soon, because they'll need you to fill out my spot :lol:
750/3.1 ivy/<2 yr we in research and cs.

darden, you just made me look into my bank statements and double check the Ross app. Thankfully, it all looks good.

danymo welcome to our R2 roll call :) yay we are 15 people now :) do you have <2 WE right now or when school starts? I will have exactly 2 years of WE in August :) ... so yeah I don't have good chances either... but at least I will be fighting for my 1% chance of getting in! :)

both, so that's why I have less of a chance than you :) I don't come here often; just letting the people waiting for an interview know that they just need to be patient to get theirs.

It's like I paid over 500 (gmat + app + plane + hotel) for the pleasure of getting a rejection, but in the 0.6% chance that it pays off, I would've made out like a bandit. Besides, you could spend 500 on lottery tickets and not have a 0.6% chance, so I already made quite a killing. :lol:

From what I have observed about the application process at Ross you should be expecting an interview invite somewhere at the end of next week

Did you receive an e-mail regarding application status change? I have been interviewed 1/23 bu t still havent receieved application complete e-mail. What can this mean?

Yup i received an email.. hmm thts interesting to know tht ur app didnt change to complete even after ur interview.. i hope this doesnt mean bad news for me.

As I am an international applicant it may take them more time to complete check up. This is only explanation that comes to my mind.

Any Indian applicant's app status changed to "complete". Mine still says submitted.

I havent received any email to that effect. On a different note, where are you tracking your status? Does the status on the application change ? i thought that stays "submitted" and future status changes would be communicated through emails.

I also want to ask this question. I couldnt find anything in Embark application that is intended to inform about the changes in application status.

I think that this list strongly supports the new approach of Michigan to invite fewer applicants to interview. 6/15 is near to %40 which is consistent with the statements of MBA admissions director. Anyway, I wish everybody to get their interview invites as soon as possible.

that email is from the application submission. I believe they send out email every time your application status changes. Although, you should not worry about it. Since you were invited to interview, it implies that they read your application which implies that they have all the material they need from you. All you should worry about is an email that says "congratulations .. you have been accepted .. blah blah" :)

You are right. If they will need something additional they definitely will let me know. Lets wait... The most painful period...It will end only in the middle of March...

Children and GBR ?

Folks with spouse and children, are you bringing your children to the
GBR. I saw on the GBR web site that most of the events planned for the
weekend are not kid-friendly. So, what are you planning to do? Are you
planning to leave your kids at home with someone. I personally dont
have that option. Any ideas?

ncp- I dont have children (yet) :) But my wife is definitely coming along.
