I received e-mail saying that some ugrad documents are missing and I sent the required documents. However there is no confirmation that they have received or that my application is complete.

Did my interview and wanted to post the questions, as the prior posts on this were very helpful in prepping.

Interview went about 35 minutes. It went OK, could of been better, I think I spoke too much on a couple of the initial questions as I'm a talker.

1) Walk me through your resume, what do you and don't you like about your current job? (this also went into some side questions about leadership/management and what my experience working abroad taught me).
2) Why MBA, Why Ross, why now?
3) Tell me about how you handled negative feedback at work (specific example)
4) What is your role in teams and what would you contribute to teams at Ross.
5) Any questions you have for me.

There is still a lot of time, guys! The interview invites for R1 stopped at 12/21 due to the Christmas break. I don't think there are any long breaks in R2.

Some recent news about the new building
https://media.www.themsj.com/media/stora ... 7584.shtml

Do you think that the fact of new building can push up Ross MBA to elite school class?

It's already an Elite school. I think you mean Ultra-Elite. I don't think the building itself is going to help Ross break into the Ultra-Elite category. The schools in that category seem to be firmly entrenched. It is going to be a while before one of the M7s is displaced.

I am afraid that the new building might pull Ross down on the rankings. This could happen if Ross decides to increase the class size due to the bigger new building. Bigger class size = lower quality students = higher acceptance rate. Something similar happened to Darden a few years ago when they increased class size and their acceptance rate went up to over 40% and I think Darden is still strugglings to heal from the blow :) I hope the same does not happen to Ross, I hope they don't increase class size even though I think they are planning to :?

Where did you hear that? I have talked to many current students at Ross and they specifically said there are no plans to increase class size.

I think the plan is to be able to bring the undergrads back into the Ross campus area. From what I understand they have kicked them out for now until they have more space.

I dont like the fact that the building is not on time... if there is one delay, there might be more... they could pull a Boeing on us. ;)

I read something about 'serving more students' on their website but I cannot find it right now hmmmm ... I will let you know if I find that page. But anyways, the space in the b-school building will be increased by 90,000 square-foot so it make sanse to increase the class size.

I hope they don't return the undergrads in the b-school building :) it would suck to have to share the building with a bunch of 18 year olds :puke

According to the employment profile 2007 graduates from Ross that went into Investment Banking did not earn more than 120k max. (according to the range figure)

https://www.bus.umich.edu/EmploymentProf ... dustry.htm

How can that be true? Shouldn't at least a few people headed towards IB make a lot more than that?

Branson- I could be wrong here but IBankers make a siginificant amount through their bonuses. So, the guaranteed compensation at the end is the guaranteed bonus that they make. So you are not talking about $140k-ish and then that is the guaranteed pay. Your bonus will obviously depend on your performance.

Again, thats my guess :)

Agree with dosa_don. If you look to next columns you will see the full picture. For IB it is 110400+40000+40000=190400 USD considering the signing and other guaranteed compensation. Not bad, isnt?

question... did most of you folks apply via Consortium?
i'm wondering if that's a consideration in the timeframe it takes for a response
also... did the Consortium interview also count for each of the schools applied to???

thanks in advance!
