Does anyone who got in earlier this round or through Early Decision know when you get a packet in the mail? Is that when the possibility of fellowship information comes?

All I've received is a plain letter that is exactly like the letter on the online application. Fellowship info is given beginning the end of this month and into April/May which is after my security deposit is due. Barf!

Same. 3/4

They START giving out that info at the end of February but it goes until April/May so they have a full picture of everyone accepted. It's on the admitted student website.

Hey guys,

I just found out I was accepted! The decision was rendered exactly 7 business days after my interview went complete in the system. I don't know what that tells anyone.

Does anyone who got in earlier this round or through Early Decision know when you get a packet in the mail? Is that when the possibility of fellowship information comes?

Congrats on the admit LB20! Very exciting - one week turnaround seems pretty reasonable as well.

Where does Columbia rank for you? Looks like you'll have a few options by the time you're done...!

How much is Columbia's security deposit? My status went to "Interview Complete" yesterday so I am hoping to hear yes or no from Columbia in the next couple weeks. I understand Columbia only gives you 2-3 weeks to accept. Do people pay Columbia's security deposit and then wait to hear from other schools? Is this common? I won't hear from Sloan until 4/5.

3/4 seems really early for a deposit deadline.

Are those of who have been accepted into Columbia going to withdraw your other R2 applications? Especially for schools that seem to notify only in early April.

Haha, Mertonman, we had the exact same thought. I still love Columbia's program, but I feel it's acting like the greasy used car salesman of MBA admissions.

First the ED structure in order to keep you from other schools. Then asking about my other schools in the interview. Now making you sweat with a tiny decision window.

ED is $6000. The web site isn't clear if RD is the same amount
