I hate that deadlines are quickly approaching to let other schools know while we wait. I just want to make a decision and move on but this is just lingering. If I don't hear by next Monday, I'm going to have to choose absent of their decision since I have 4/15 deadlines. By default of waiting too long, it won't even be a choice. I just feel bad for the people who helped me like my recommenders who put in a lot of work to get my application as polished as possible but then you never hear the result until its too late.
I'd rather get dinged in a timely fashion than be accepted too late to even consider the school.
the outlaw fades.... where are you leaning at this point? you have some excellent options. Also... I am from Buffalo GO BILLS

Awesome! I'm a Steelers fan but I work with the Bills as part of my job at the bank so I'm always cheering for them too.
I'm about 50/50 between Ross and Duke at the moment. Both plus Darden offered a lot of money too. I visited Duke two weeks ago for their admit weekend and I'm going to Ross' this weekend. We'll see where I'm leaning on Sunday after I get back from Michigan.
Nice...PM me and let me know how ross goes! I also went to BDW weekend in Durham..... it sort of sold me on Duke. RIght now i am between duke, Anderson (whose admit weekend i am attending this weekend) and UNC (where I got a scholarship. i just want CBS to decide on me already! this is excruciating.
Finally some news. Waitlisted. sigh. I've still got two more schools in the works at least, but those notification deadlines are the end of April and May. argh.
Designstory, sorry about the waitlist. Hopefully you'll get off of it and if not, it looks like you have some other great options. Since we have a pretty similar timeline, would you mind sharing your stats/story? Thanks.

I should add that my app wasn't the best. I started this whole process late October (i.e. started researching schools) and took the GMATs after studying for two weeks in December. Not the best idea. Well, if I get rejected all around this year, at least I will have a more normal and sane timeline for the next!
Haha, that's actually hilarious. I was the exact same way. I studied for about two weeks for the GMAT and put minimal time into my apps as well and I thought my Columbia application was garbage. I'm surprised I'm still in the running. Hopefully one of my schools will pan out for me, because I don't feel like re-applying next year.
Same. I am so ready to move on! I've been contemplating quitting my job and doing something else for a year, but it'd kind of nice having the income....
@ those accepted from CBS (or those who just know): Does CBS call, or do admits simply receive an email notifying them that their status has changed?
I applied 2/5, was invited to interview 2/25, interviewed 3/5, "interview complete" on 3/26 (interviewer took forever)...and now awaiting a decision. Seems like it took most people 2 weeks from "interview complete" to decision, so I am expecting an update soon.

Just curious - why is NYU not part of your consideration? i noticed that in your admit list. would like to know your thoughts since being in NYC (or close to it) is a big factor in my choice of schools. Thanks!

For anyone reading this part of the thread, I replied with a PM. If you're also interested in my answer, feel free to shoot me a PM as well. Didn't want to clog up this thread with my responses on unrelated schools.

It's a nerve-wrecking email that CBS has "rendered a decision". It took them a month to get back to me after interview went complete.. The wait was excruciating, so I know what you are going through.
On Monday it will be 2 weeks since the interview went complete. Are majority of the decision out already? Is there a point in giving CBS a call to see where things stand?

Well, considering that I have yet to submit my application, I think you're in a much better position than I.
SerialAcquirer - The later it got in the application season, the longer it has taken for applicants to hear back. Many people didn't get a final decision for +4 weeks after their interview went complete. I wouldn't hassle the admissions committee by checking up on your application when it has only been 2 weeks - they're just going to tell you to wait.
