SerialAcquirer - The later it got in the application season, the longer it has taken for applicants to hear back. Many people didn't get a final decision for +4 weeks after their interview went complete. I wouldn't hassle the admissions committee by checking up on your application when it has only been 2 weeks - they're just going to tell you to wait.

Seeing as you haven't even applied yet - let's take one step at a time. I'm sure there are few applicants applying at this stage, namely because there are fewer spots available. Because of these two factors, I'm assuming you will get a response faster than those who applied in mass on Jan 6th. There's no science to figuring out the exact timeline of when you'll hear back, so there's no point in asking.

50 days???? that's insane! sorry, i didn't read your previous posts but have you followed up w/ cbs? i need to make a decision re: tuck before 4/22. there's no way i can wait 2 months for a decision. it's only been 2 weeks since my interview went complete :( i guess if i don't accept their offer (yes, i'm being very optimistic :), someone else will...

Thought I'd offer my thoughts for everyone that has completed an interview, received feedback, and is now waiting on a decision. I'm in the same boat...although I haven't been waiting nearly as long as some...interviewed on 4/2 and feedback submitted on 4/6

Anyone admitted between Feb 18th and April 2nd has until April 16th to submit their deposit. By now, almost all other schools have released R2 decisions so CSB is likely waiting until the 16th to see how many deposits they receive before releasing the next wave of decisions. Obviously the fewer the acceptances at CSB by the 16th, the better for anyone still waiting, but I would think they still plan to admit a certain number regardless.

The last despoit deadline was March 4th and if you look back at the thread around that time, you'll see a few decisions start to go out during the days leading up to March 4th and then a flurry of news over the following week. Since then there have been a few decisions released but pretty sparse for most of April as I really think they are waiting on the April 16th deadline.

Far from an exact science but this logic seems more consistent than trying to gauge how many weeks it has been since your application went complete or you received feedback on the interview. Best of luck to everyone still waiting. Hopefully we start to hear some good news late next week or on April 19th/20th.

Definitely felt like both my wait to go under review and to hear back about an interview were pretty lengthy but not sure what/how to read into this

Are there a lot of people on here that have interviewed and are waiting beyond 12 weeks from when your app went under review? I am at 12 weeks today, but I think if I hear anything before Friday (the deposit deadline for earlier acceptances) it will be either a ding or waitlist. Anybody else agree/disagree with this rationale?

Well, count me in to that pool of waiting beyond 12 weeks. I submitted my application on 1/6, went complete around 1/9, interviewed on 3/16. Still no word for me! Certainly not holding my breath anymore, though.

on the optimistic side, i think there are a lot of people in the same boat and that cbs has a lot of spots left to fill. i would guess that it has to do with waiting to see what candidates accept offers from other schools, etc.
