Yes I interviewed with him last week. He asked a lot of the questions that were posted earlier in this thread.

Was it a blind interview? I've made a note of the questions referenced earlier in the thread... how much focus did he put into working through your resume?

Thanks and good luck!!

Not sure if it was blind. A lot of the focus was working through the resume, and that's how the interview started. Nothing too tricky, know your story and you'll be fine.

Is USC > UCLA for you?
I actually didn't get a chance to visit USC, and was hoping I could for an interview. Generally though, I think I prefer UCLA - and ultimately wanting to end up in Nor Cal, I think Anderson has a better brand up here. After 4 dings though, I'd love to get in anywhere. :P

No doubt! I'm sure you will do fine at either (or even UT).

Hmnnn ... I could have sworn I was told that the decisions would be sent out on April 1st by 17:00 (PST) ... but close enough either way.

No acceptances yet, so I'm really hoping for some good news.

By the way hypermeganet, out of curiosity, what are your top 3 schools in order of preference?

Out of what's left? haha

Um, it really depends on visits. I'm heading to Boston tonight. And I plan on a trip out to ND soon.

USC was always one of my top 3 (alongside my two dings), so it still rests on top. But, honestly, I'm guessing a ding there, too.

I've really gotten into UNC. I liked the vibe a lot. And Virginia looks interesting, but they've been MIA for like a month now and I'm not thinking that looks likely.

So, of the schools I have not heard from + admits: USC > UNC> UVA > BC > ND > WUSTL > BU

I mostly like BC and they gave me a 2/3 scholarship. I'm just worried about career prospects.

I had my interview yesterday and at the end of it my interviewer explained the decision process. They are aiming to get ALL of the decisions out on 4/1 (via the status-check website) but if for some reason if it still says "under review" or "application submitted" or whatever then check again on 4/2. It just means that they haven't input all of their decisions into the system yet. I have a friend who was admitted the day AFTER their notification date for R1 so it is possible that you will see it updated 4/2.

WilMan is correct...decisions will be out on 4/1 with 4/2 at the latest.

I have pretty much given up hope...Rd2 USC applicant: 760/3.35 Princeton/11yrs WE/35 Yrold/Strong EC/Strong Essays/Good recs ...but I had a couple hiccups = dropped out of top 10 law program 7 years ago, went to rehab, have felony, a little bit choppy work history as result. I've been clean/sober almost 7 years and own my own real estate finance/consulting co, but I think the felony/age/choppy history killed me. i Thought (hoped) my essays portrayed a compelling story of young/mistakes/felony v. older/wiser/overcoming adversity and redemption. i guess not. :) i got interview at UCLA and am hoping/waiting on that and Haas Rd 3 interview invite. We'll see. You guys are AWESOME on this site...and who knows, maybe I'll get in w/o interview?
