R2 applicant here. Applied on 15-JAN. The bold part you mention has been my status since a week after submission. Don't read too much into it ... it simply means what it means!
I just checked my status and it says that same thing and has not updated even though my interview is complete. I really do not think you guys need to get worried about the interview invites. When I interviewed last week I was interviewing with RD1 applicants and it was decision day for RD1.
I honestly have no idea why I interviewed already. I think they were accomodating me since I was in town from Chicago.

Interview was blind and with an adcom. It was scheduled for 30 minutes but went an hour because we got sidetracked talking about random things.
Questions I remember: -What each move at your current company a promotion? Why did you make the move? -Why do you want an MBA? -How will Marshall help you accomplish your career goals?
How many of you did NOT have interviews before being accepted? I just noticed on BW's profile page that only 90% of admits receive interviews. If you did not have an interview, did you only find out that you were accepted on Feb 1? Or did they notify you beforehand?
i recalled it is 97% on PT school review book. FYI

Hey R1 Admits,

Any R2 interviews go out? I've still heard nothing from Marshall. I emailed them stating that I've not received anything stating my application was complete (or any other emails besides my 10 digit code) and their response was:
"Please check your status online by using your login ID and password you created to submit your application."
R2 Applicant myself. I personally haven't heard of anyone from R2 having received an interview invite ... except for "24", who is already done with his interview (see previous post in thread).
Am i correct to assume that some R1 applicants have still not heard their final decision yet? i believe the deadline was feb 1. Thats interesting if USC is that far behind....
I just received an email invitation to interview this Saturday, which was nice because with only one day left to hear from Chicago I have all but given up hope for that app.
I applied on the last day of R2 (1/15?).
BTW, I believe this will be my first post, been lurking throughout the application process. Thanks for the great resource, everyone.
Good luck with the interview. Are you living in LA?

Just so you know, I called up Marshall Admissions to get an idea as to where we stand in the admissions process, and they said that R2 applications are actively under review with the Directors, and that the invitations for the bulk of R2 applicants will start going out this week.
My girlfriend got her interview email for the USC Masters of Accounting program last night. I'm fairly jealous! I'm hoping we see emails by the end of today.
