Interesting. They appear to be going by GMAT score....
I have been tracking it (and assuming the chronology of the call -> inform us is fluid) and I have seen admits go from 780 -> 640. Not like it really matters at this point. Just like the trend . Plus maybe it will help people for next year. Seems asinine though. Hope someone disproves me.
In terms of all the theories. I got in at 3pm EST. I have a 710 gmat, my name ends in B and I got my interview invite on 1/18 (the first day). It really is random. I also did not get the gmat email.
The only trend is they try and call asia first but now anyone waiting in North America/ South America is randomly going to get a call I believe.

Long time lurker. First post here and figured I'd let you know that calls are still coming! I just got the call 10 minutes ago from a 773 area code. I am in NYC so don't lose hope!

I did not get that email about the GMAT being unverified.
In w/ $$! Got the call at 3:24 EST. 750/m/28/3.7/5+ WE Big Four. Feeling very blessed and relieved that now it's over. Congrats to all fellow admitted applicants and all my best to those still waiting. Never give up hope.
