Hey guys,

I had applied to all my schools R1 and heard back with good news from two...
I still haven't made my decision and it's killing me...
Can any of you help me with your infinite wisdom on the topic of 'choosing the right school to enroll?

I got into McDonough with some $ (around 30%) and also got into Tepper with no $ (abs. zero).
My focus is in Operations but I am not excluding the chance of switching to Finance, if you know what i mean

Please help out.

If you really want to do operations and finance, and money's really the only reason you're thinking about going to GTown, I'd go to Tepper. You really can't do much better if you want to do ops/finance. Besides, as much as I love DC (live there now), you'll probably make up a lot of the money (definitely not all of it) through cost of living differences.

Don't know for sure (going back for marketing so I haven't really paid attention to the finance programs), but I wouldn't think so. I know that CMU is very well-respected in quant finance especially, and if you're interested in ops, Tepper is pretty much top of the heap.

Also, I was planning on wearing a suit. Is this overdressed for a class visit / tour / interview? Should I do business casual instead? R1 admits, what were people wearing on your visits?

I can't speak directly to Tepper as my interview hasn't taken place yet, but I did go on an interview at Tuck. Everyone was wearing a suit. I think it's pretty well expected from these types of interviews. There should be guidance on the website.

When I go to my Tepper interview I will be wearing a suit.
