I contacted admissions directly and they told me that they'd let me know if they didn't receive the transcripts. I would just give a heads-up with the admissions staff. They're very receptive...

I pretty much did the same thing. I sent the transcripts a few weeks ago and I haven't heard any news back. So, I'm just assuming they got them. Thanks.

Just checked on the OL portal..
I am WL-ed...
There was no email sent seperately..
So looks like decisions are out, check it out...

Also, what are the chances of getting picked up from the WL??
The letter says decision will be anytime before 1st June..
I cannot wait that long...
Any suggestions???

Yes, the website says that email notifications aren't sent and to check periodically for updates.

I know that, generally speaking, if you show improvement/progress while on the waitlist then your chances improve (promotion, GMAT improvement, etc.).

I interviewed with Simon on 14 Mar via skype. Could anyone let me know what is the usual turn around time for the adcom to let the student know the final decision. Also, is it sent out in an email or need to check it on the website?

i got in Simon with $. I received an email. I am confused though the email says i hav to accept the offer by April 1, 2011.. does dat mean that i have to make a deposit to accept the offer or is it tat i hav to just drop an email saying i do accept the ofeer....plz guide me through

I just wanted to post an FYI...The US News rankings came out today. Simon fell to 45 from 27. Again, just an FYI and I disagree with this ranking of Simon. But I wanted to alert you all in case you wanted to check it out. Thanks.

The drop is no doubt due to the lower employment stats.

On a positive note, Simon is proactively addressing this issue with a completely revamped Career Center, including a new Executive Director.

I'd imagine that their employment stats, and in turn their ranking, will return to their historical range in the near future.
