However, Kurt Ahlm explicitly stated that decisions will come out on the 14th. Maybe they are doing something different this year. There's no way to know for sure - I don't think we can assume that people will start getting calls tomorrow.

I agree that the blog post explicitly says decisions will be released on the 14th, but if all decisions come out at 9:00am CT (per the interview invite), then it would be a bit anti-climatic to receive the phone call in the hours after you receive the admit email (though I wouldn't complain one bit).

Seems like the whole point of the admit phone call is to be the bearer of good news. But, who knows, it's all speculation at this point.

We've all managed to survive the waiting game over the past 2 months, so another 2 days should be doable.

You could get waitlisted on Wednesday, so not getting a call tomorrow isn't necessarily the end of the road.

I hope this is the last sleepless night for most of us here.

Last year we were all called the day before. As far as I know this year will be the same.

Good luck

Tomorrow I have 4 meetings for a total of 5 hours between 8:30 and 4:30 central... Can't decide if I should have my phone on me while I'm away from my desk or not... and do I step out of a meeting to answer it if it rings or call back? All but one meeting is only internal people, which is good because I'm going to be a mess!

I've already decided that, if at all possible, I'm going to pretend I'm getting an emergency call and step out of the room if I'm in a meeting.

I assume that calls will come from a 312 area code or show up as unknown. Does anyone know what the call comes from in past years?

The admissions office has a 773 area code.

If they get 2nd years to call, they may call from their cell phones so the area code may not even be from Chicago.

AFAIK 2nd years will not be calling to announce admissions.

How long do calls last? Based on my calculations they should be done by 1pm (est).

Looking at last year's thread, calls were reported as late as 4:45 cst for r1.

So, Kellogg started their admit calls today (lots of people got in).

Anybody who applied to both schools can expect calls from either school tomorrow/Wednesday
