Since I'm bored and need help passing the next two weeks, I keep looking at my school websites willing them to accept me.
I did see something good that the Consortium changed. Talking with past Consortium students they mentioned there was a disadvantage for those that applied R1 because the deposit deadlines were early February and scholarships don't come out until the end of March. Hence either put multiple deposits down and lose a few thousand or hedge your bets on one school giving you a scholarship.
It seems to have changed this year, at least for the schools that list it. Berkeley and Tuck Consortium deadlines are April 28th and April 30th respectively. NYU doesn't show their deposit deadline dates and UCLA doesn't make R1 Consortium decisions until March, so the deposit deadline has to be in April.
Now, back to willing schools to accept me with my mind....
