I called, no waitlist consultations until January. So, either we can wait until then or be proactive (i.e. reschedule GMAT, get promotions or take more coursework).

I called them too , and you are correct racer , they do not have anything till January 2013.

Does anyone know what's the acceptance rate for the Anderson FEMBA wait list ?

I clicked on the waitlist form and confirmed my willingness to remain on the waitlist. The form took sometime to save the information , and I am not sure if it did it correctly. I am wondering how can I check whether it got processed or not. Will probably send them an email...

Don't know how old that is... but I don't imagine that it changes much. Looks like 25% of 104 waitlisted... Still better than a ding.

That's pretty good , that's 1 out of 4. Not at all bad , well much better than dinged for sure. The bad part is the wait , now wait till the second round's decision which I think is March. USC Marshall acceptance requires x amount to be paid before January end or so. Pretty interesting situation as UCLA is my first pick !

UCLA is my first pick also with USC being my one and only backup. I didn't apply to USC until November, so I too should be hearing in January. I think the deposit date will be pushed back for those getting admitted in January, but it's probably still due before UCLA takes people off the wait list.

I hope I get into USC.... Then again, I can't imagine getting waitlisted at UCLA and denied at USC; what a predicament that would be.

Any waitlisters got any calls from Admission Officers from Anderson yet?

I have been accepted to USC Marshall MBA.PM with my $2,500 deposit due on 3/1/2013. I had my waitlist consultation with UCLA FEMBA in early January; they stated that if I had something in my application change that they might review my application prior to the R2 deadline. So, I signed up for the June CFA exam in hopes that it would have a bearing on my application.

If I don't hear from UCLA until 3/29/2013 then I'll have passed my deposit deadline for USC. Do you think I should approach UCLA and ask them to review my application before 3/1/2013 so that I can get a decision before my USC deposit is due? I really don't want to for over $2,500 to USC and then be admitted to UCLA.

Please Help!!!

Nothing that I can think of to help this predicament. My deadline to accept USC is TODAY and I am also on the waitlist of UCLA which will as you said get only reviewed with R2. I did ask them if they do like a rolling decisions , but the answer is no. The decision will be on R2 decision date - Yes , no or again waitlist. I guess I will have to think I will have to say goodbye to 2500 and put it in my education cost !

From what I gathered, you can get off the waitlist before hand if anything in your application changes.

Did call UCLA and tell them about being accepted to USC and the deposit? If no, did you think about it and why did you decide not to?
