What do I do if I still cannot confirm the meeting with my alumnus, 2 weeks after initial contact? He is barely responsive...

Notify the adcom that you are trying and that communication has been difficult (In a respectful manner). Usually, that will prompt them to reach out on their own accord to the interviewer and gently prod them.

It happens, and typically if one or two replacements don’t respond then the adcom will have someone internal handle it. Just remember to be polite and patient and this will only work out in your favor.

The 2nd one is "non responsive" after how long? It can be normal that they take a few days to reply, though if the time is running up I would suggest that you contact them with the different channels that you have been given access to (one email only, or maybe two? phone number where you can text from a messaging app?)

Regards,
Pablo

10 days now and I sent a reminder after 5. Now that you’ve mentioned it, admissions did have their mobile number in the email. I’ll use it tomorrow, thanks!

How are home campuses allotted? Is INSEAD flexible for change of campus upon admit? Any experience/ insights would be helpful. Thanks.

Hi VCV2,

when making admissions decisions, the AdCom is campus blind, i.e. they don't take into consideration which campus you've chosen in the application.

Once a decision has been made on your application, they look at your campus preference and try to accommodate it. For earlier rounds, this is easier. For later rounds, it becomes more complicated. For example, the Singapore class size is smaller than the Fontainebleu class size. So, if many people chose Singapore as their home campus, some of them probably will be given Fontainebleau, simply because of space constraints. Also, they try to keep a diverse class on both campuses. Therefore, having for example too many students from the same nationality on the same campus is not ideal. So, they will try to redistribute.

In any case, once admitted, it is perfectly possible to change your home campus. You need to send a request explaining the reasons you want/need to change it, and INSEAD will evaluate it.

I hope this helps.

Warm regards
Alex

Hi I tried to contact my AO multiple times via email but never received a response. I am curious to know if it's just me or people are experiencing similar situations? I thought AOs are assigned to us to help answer our questions LOL. Good luck to everyone waiting for R2 the final result!
