Finished the second interview yesterday and sent an email to my AO asking for an expedited decision .. let's hope we all get lucky ..

Does your AO confirm you that it’s possible to have an expedited decision?

"even if we can not guarantee, we'll do our best to accommodate" I guess it depends, if your profile is interesting enough to be put in the cohort for sure they'll have early decisions but if there're already similar profiles admitted in the cohort then perhaps they'll wait until most candidates in R2 finish their interviews to make a decision altogether / adjust with the churn rate in R1, etc.

What reason did you state for the same? Admission offer from another school is valid? Also, let us know what they reply and if they consider such requests! Thanks

I guess they do consider if you come up with a reason. My reason is a real one (slightly colored but still a viable one and justifiable). Honestly at this stage INSEAD is the only program I applied (and I told the same to the AO in my email) but of course you can use admission offer from another school if that suits you (whether it's true or not) - if you're confident enough and ready to place some pressure on INSEAD not to lose you without doubting you to be a churn or your why INSEAD motivation / some people use this reason to get scholarship as well - maybe not INSEAD. I think business school candidates or people with a business background (I work in banking) know that it's a negotiation tactic/trick, I'd like to quote Lord Varys from Game of Throne "power resides where men believe it resides, it's a trick, a shadow on the wall"

but in this instance, INSEAD can only tell you if you’re admitted or not right? Scholarship’s results will no be available until July?

I think that's correct because scholarships you'll need to apply separately, even though it's formal essay-based process but I guess you can still try to send emails to AO stating additional reasons why you need a scholarship so maybe the AO can include that info? Or to the financing officer as I received the email to apply for scholarship from financing officer not from my AO.
