@AmitTheBirbal I am an INSEAD alumna and former admissions interviewer. Your chances in the later rounds depend on two key factors:
- Can you help INSEAD increase its GMAT average?
- What do you bring that the admissions committee will find compelling when they have few seats remaining and they are looking for very unique candidates?
If you’re unsure whether to apply now or wait for an early round to make a stronger impression, I’m happy to evaluate your profile and provide guidance.
Best wishes

[email protected] Hello mam,
My score is above their average so it is obviously adding up to their average.
Plus I think, I don’t know whether its a positive or a negative point but i have 12 years of experience in defense technology,
From creating modules from scratch, to developing complete defense machines from radars, satellites. Creating digital twins and all. So from technology aspect I have covered almost every big technology trending and completely aware of their development from scratch and impact on future.
My analysis capability can guide one to predict where a startup will be in 10 years, and how to choose specific fields to increase fortune of a company.. My diverse technical competency is my plus point as per me.. My skills are there in almost very software language, plus designing architectures..
I dont know if it would help, but I would like to switch to tech sector after MBA do my experience will add up in my future.

Your score is strong. Ironically, since many candidates assume later rounds have less chances, this favors strong candidates who do actually apply.
Having said that, the strength of your overall profile (work-ex, international exposure, extracurriculars etc.) would decide whether it’d be competitive in R4 (or any round for that matter). Feel free to reach out for a deeper chat.
Regards,
Arvind
