Just answered you a few pages back--as far as I know the interview is a requirement for admission.

Thanks. It seems recent admits are mainly american students who had the interview pretty early around SS. Very few international students reported admits. quite confused.

According to past posts, it looks 99% people got the ding or wl email on the notification date. If we couldn't get the call before the adcom office is closed today, the chance is really slim.

They were still calling - I really hope to get a call tomorrow on the decision day (say one person got it in R1), but frankly doubt that this will happen.

Two Chinese reported getting the call on Chasedream.com (a Chinese forum about applying to b-schools).

Good luck to those still waiting, hope I can at least get a WL.

It'll just be an email telling you to check the status of your online application. Could be ding or waitlist if you haven't interviewed.
