For those who have given Haas interviews ...are you showing your official school transcripts during your interview?

I went to the EWMBA interview on Dec 9. Molly interviewed me, went fine overall. She definitely made me feel @ ease. I did take transcripts with me but since I had already mailed it to them they didnt ask me during the interview.

So if your interviewer replies to you saying "Best of luck in your MBA search!!" how would you take it? Is it a hint that you need to move on and focus on other schools?

I didnt get that from Haas. But i got that quote from UCLA interviewer, it worked out ok for me. I just think they were being nice. They watch every word they say as we may read too much into it.

Don't think they're coming out for a little bit...from that email we received with the subject line Berkeley MBA: For Round Two Applicants, "We anticipate issuing our first Round Two interview invitations beginning in January continuing through the end of February and possibly up to the notification date."

Perhaps some extremely exceptional people are being granted interviews...who knows...

My file (R1 application) went under review on Nov 4 and has been silent since then. I'm a reapplicant and was interviewed last year. Should I expect for another interview this year? Or silence for this long = ding?

Any reapplicant mind sharing experiences?

hey welcome and thnks so much for the update but do kindly post ur profile. this blog is pretty active for fulltime and i guess its going slow with ewmba at Haas. Also kindly update us on the questions posed at the interview.. Congrats and all the best!

Thanks. Just a small clarification i wasnt part of the full time applicant pool. I applied for femba. There were a bunch of positive results mailed from ucla for femba on dec 11.

Pretty standard questions.
Have you visited our campus? How did you come in?
Explain for 10 mins abt your resume, dont talk abt academics, just work experience. Talk about every work you have listed in your resume.
Describe the toughest situation you hv been in @ work and what you learned from it and how you have avoided repeating it
Why Mba and why from us.
Can a Manager be successful without an MBA.
Asked me the 4 guiding principles (that were part of the essays), which one i wrote about in my essay submission and asked me to talk abt an example from my life from the other 3 i didnt write about.
What 3 words would your manager and friends use to describe you
What are you most proud about in ur work achievements
What do you do for fun, when not doing work or academic stuff.
What is your leadership style.

Then time for my questions.

Actually, we went a little over 30 mins. Maybe close to 33-35. Yes there was enough time to talk about everything. I was told that i can talk about everything I have done professionally, for 10 mins. I was also told to explain or point out any progression there has been in my work roles.
