Thanks for the information, Sanlitun! That's why I was asking since I've never heard of Super Saturday and a friend of mine who is now at Haas has never heard of it either. We are both from California so that makes sense.

Just want to double check: does that invitation for Super Saturday(^above^) contain info that directly states that you will have your interview conducted there?

As far as I understand - For R2 no one has received a standard interview invite yet, right?

R3 for 2011 (with a greater risk of a ding due to R3) vs. R1 for 2012 (assuming same quality of application)... what's a better bet?
Just figuring out if I should go ahead with R3 or not..

yea I'm just wondering how berkeley looks at re-applicants.. would it be tougher to get in as a reapplicant? whats the process like - redoing the entire app or just submitting additional re-app essay(s)

It's only Monday and I'm already refreshing this page like crazy to see if anyone has reported any admissions calls, even though they probably won't start until Wednesday. This is going to be a rough week.

Did any R1 applicants to the MBA/MPH get interviews? If so, can you post your profile? Thanks!

any other R1 applicant just see a change in their application status

mine went from 'invite to interview' to 'under review'

Your application for admission to the Berkeley Full-time MBA program is under review by the Admissions Committee. Please visit the web site again and log in with your user name and password on or after the decision date for the round in which you applied to check your application status.

My status still hasn't changed from "Invited to Interview" to "Under Review." Is anyone else seeing this change in status or are there others like me out there?

I completed my interview 8 days ago and my status changed from "Invited to Interview" to "Application Under Review" 3-4 days after the interview. I figure that's when my interviewer submitted her evaluation of me.

My status just recently changed to Application Under Review, and I did my on-campus interview in early December.

What a coincidence! I just checked my status again, and it now says "Application Under Review." It must have changed within the last few hours.

I am a Round 2 applicant and received an invite for an interview today. I was surprised that it wasn't specifically for Super Saturday, as I have never done an official campus visit and am based in Pittsburgh. Does anyone have a sense for why certain people are selected for Super Saturday and others are not? Believe me, I'm not complaining. I'm psyched that I received an interview invite. I was just wondering if anyone knew the logic.

Thanks!
