My confirmation is a week earlier on the 23rd. I'm going to have to contact them about moving it back. Anyone have experience with that?

They probably give a certain deadline based on when they admit you. Tough position for you since some schools release decisions on the 25th.

I'm just going to write to the point that I am excited about the early decision, but was planning on having more time to do my research and reach a final decision. I will ask them to extend the decision deadline to compensate for the early decision. While stating my interest in the program throughout.

Hello Ms. Burt and the entire Graduate Admissions Team,
Thank you so much for accepting me to your illustrious MBA Program. I was shocked to have received admission so much earlier than the deadline. I am very excited about the prospect of joining the BC community. Through my research on the program and communication with students and alumni I know how exciting this opportunity is. This is, however, a large decision and the earlier acceptance has given me a shorter timeline than I was prepared for to make my final decision. Would it be possible to extend the Decision Deadline to compensate for the time lost through the early decision? Thank you again for your interest in me and I hope to be joining the BC community in the fall.

Their response hoped that the extension gave me enough time to 'weigh my enrollment options'. Regardless of what you write, they can read between the lines - it's not their first rodeo.

Admit!! 100% scholarship with GA :D

I am seeking a career change from project management (defence manufacturing, 6yrs., India) to Finance (IB/FS) and presently hold a full scholarship from BU also, while I am still waiting for kelley, UNC-KF(WL) & Emory interview decisions.

I want to work in US for 5-6 yrs before coming back to India and start my own setup, for that matter I applied only to schools where I found myself most hopeful for a scholarship!

I would appreciate any suggestion to help me take a call between BU & BC based on my career goals.

Goodjob man! I'm in too with a scholarship and GA. I must say though that BC has a pretty strong finance program, much more accomplished than BU's. You might want to consider the MBA / MSF double degree?

First off, congrats on the admit and scholarship! I would have to agree with Ceekster. The BC finance program is very well respected and, in my opinion, a much stronger program than BU's. If I were you, I would lean towards BC - but obviously that is your decision to make.

Haven't received mine yet.
Was kinda hoping it included a "Welcome Gift". A guy posted some Carroll goodies he got a few weeks back. I belive he is American. So I guess it does differ.
