Can anyone comment on time frame from going interview complete to decision? I'm going a bit crazy waiting for the decision...

I was RD, app went under review 12/30 and had interview a week ago.

It took exactly one week after my interview for my status to change to "complete." Went complete 1/24. Still waiting on a decision. Persuing the spreadsheet, it appears that it can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks to get a decision.

I went complete on 1/31- was just hoping for a decision this week :/ Judging by the fact you went complete a week earlier than me, I won't be hearign anything for awhile I guess.

I applied on the 28th of January went under review on the 3rd of February

Not very optmistic because of the late application (I couldnt do it earlier because of work issues)...and also worried about the GPA because the Spanish grading scale is totally different and even if I am 95 percentile at my Engineering School, my GPA is 2.35 :roll:

...any experience with this??

Adcomms realize that foreign GPAs are not directly comparable to US GPAs. Make sure to include class rank in your resume.

PS - I don't think they report foreign GPAs in the published statistics since there are too many inconsistencies across countries and institutions. I think only US and Canada are generally thought of in that context.

what is the normal time between going under review and a decision on an interview? I just went under review on Tuesday.

I heard back about 7-8 weeks later (from under review to decision)....as you can see, the timeline varies significantly.

I went under review the 30th and heard on the 13th for an interview invite. I think this seems somewhat typical (2-3 weeks)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think we've seen an admit since the 1/22 women's weekend. It appears that it has been entirely dings since 1/24. So I'm telling myself that no news is good news these days.

EDIT: I double-checked. globalcitizen is the most recently reported admit on 1/26.

I couldn't agree more. But the silence (and dings) breed anxiety: you can tell that people are definitely getting anxious by the volume of postings (both here and on the Stern thread), they've been unusually high the past 2-3 days. I've started preemptively checking my Columbia status (without having received an email), to see if there is anything new. Under review for 3.5 weeks now.

I submitted 12/2. Received an interview invite around 1/13, interviewed 1/26, went complete 1/27 and have been waiting for an answer since.

I want to comment on what everyone is saying about how there haven't been any decisions (at least acceptances since 1/22). Keep in mind that school just resumed the week after that. I know that class schedules shouldn't affect the admissions process, but there might be some correlation - did information sessions kick up again - were they recruiting new Hermes Society members? Also, I live in New York and the weather (snow) here has been brutal over the past few weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if admissions personnel couldn't make it in to the office or if meetings had to be rescheduled or canceled. I'm willing to bet that the confluence of all of those events did slow down the process a bit.

Best of luck everyone. Like many of you, I'll be staring at my inbox and chewing my nails until I receive a decision.
