I'm not sure how they're doing things now since I applied 1/6 and went under review at 1/27. A lot of folks who went under review a few days after me are getting decisions. Oh well. I have other heavy things on my mind to keep me occupied while I wait.

I applied 1/5 and went under review 1/21. Still waiting to hear back...I guess there is some (glimmer of) hope yet :)

Could it be that those who applied in late Dec/early Jan and haven't heard back yet are now being compared to people who applied later? And decisions will be made now partially on that basis?... I'm completely speculating, but it seems like that could be a rational way to go about it

When you get a ding does the email subject say your account status has been updated or a decision has been rendered?

Beton, you've probably called back by now but if you haven't, from what I've seen on this forum, there's only 2 reasons people get called (both are good though!):
1) Your interviewer may have missed an essential question so the Adcom wants to talk to you and clarify it. This means that they are very interested in you but just prepare your answers well.
2) You got in :)

Either way, it means the Adcom liked you! Let us know how it pans out!!

Yup, I interviewed on 2/24 and am still waiting (system went complete on 3/1). Looks like some people have been at interview complete much longer than I have, so I can't complain. Still, this wait is killer..

I think it's hard not to feel impatient when there are a lot of folks in the spreadsheet who heard back in <4 days.. Then again, the average is ~2 weeks... Still doesn't make it any easier.

Is it a good thing or a bad thing if the committee follows up with a question for you via email? I went interview complete on 2/14, got an inquiry about a week ago, quickly responded, and got a thank you and now haven't heard anything. They said I should be hearing soon, but all is silent. Any ideas of whether or not I can infer anything from this?
