Congrats, MBA923!!! 14 weeks is rough - but that's definitely a great way to end it!! So no phone call, just the email?! Man, when I just thought I had it figured out... Back to obsessively checking my email now... :)

don't give up hope just yet!! i submitted FOURTEEN WEEKS AGO and only heard today! :) it took over 3 weeks to schedule my interview and over 4 weeks for my interview to go complete.

i don't know the exact dates of my status changes because i never received email updates, but just remember that sometimes no news is good news!

just FYI, i did not get a call--just an email with The Admissions Committee has rendered a decision on your application to Columbia Business School. i thought it was a definite rejection!

all the best to everyone. i feel your pain on the wait, but just stay optimistic!

I received an email on Sunday in regards to my wife, as I had mentioned in my app she was also applying, but had not applied yet. I answered immediately and got my call today around 12:20 PM EST. Hope this helps and will keep rooting for those still waiting. The GC has been a great source of support even when anxiety and desperation have taken the best of me.

Overall, pretty good - I've been telling my friends and family an 8 out of 10. I got two dreaded questions - ethical dilemma and what other schools, but I think I answered them pretty well. My alum was really nice and extremely accomplished, the interview lasted about 75 minutes, and it was at his home after work b/c we live within walking distance of one another. He put his poker face on at the end and told me that he's written glowing interview reviews and the applicant hasn't gotten in and he's written so-so reviews and they have. So he told me that it's extremely competitive and if I don't get in, I shouldn't assume I interviewed poorly. Not my favorite thing to hear at the end of an interview, but I appreciate the honesty.

Whew, can't believe its all over, now I just have to settle in for the wait.

Hi - My application went under review on 1/29 and I have not heard anything since then. Is it normal to wait nearly 6 weeks or more to even be invited for an interview? Should I reach out to the admissions committee?

Trying to stay hopeful!

Same timeline here. VictoryMBA went under review at about that time too I believe. I haven't heard anything yet - and I'm going to give them at least another week before calling. Not sure how hopeful I am at this point though. Who knows?

I went under review on 1/21 and didn't hear back until last week and others from the same timeframe received invites around when I was dinged, so I think the lag is normal. Stay positive!!

Just got an email - Waitlisted. Not exactly ideal. My stats are on the first page, but I went under review 1/19, interview invite 2/7, interview complete 2/24, and decision (ha) rendered 3/9. Good luck to everyone

This is true... I think 8-12 weeks is normal. That being said, at this point, anything can happen.
