Argh! I can't wait to finish my GMAT to start working on the essays. I wonder how many have already applied, and perhaps more importantly as lawgonebusiness asks, how many admitted?

I actually went to an info session like 3 weeks ago. The associate director of admissions then said they already had one admit at the time.

That reminds me, I'm going to an info session in 2 weeks... if there are any questions anyone wants asked of the adcom (aside from how many admits so far and for which entry), let me know.

Finally was able to submit for ED on Sunday morning (was waiting for my recommenders to finish). Status changed this morning to under review. Let's hope they move quickly this year. It's already driving me insane just thinking about it!

ya'll are making me feel behind! My target submit date is Labor day and even that is more than a month ahead of the ED deadline! :shock:

I feel the same, mba2013.

Before I knew that there is no "start review date", I was shooting for 8/26 but now, I'm submitting mine on 8/16, as soon as I get back from the admission event in LA. I feel even that's too late !!

Good to see a lotta activity though. Right now, we have 3-4 ppl invited for interview for ED? That's good stats. I am wetting my pants even before submission b/c the ones who got invitations seem to have solid profiles in GMAT and GPA - nothing unexpected. Hoping for a bit of leniency from adcom b/c I'm showing my dedication by applying ED :-D

I can't imagine that submitting now vs. Labor Day is going to have much of an impact on admission chances, but I am hoping it will speed up the decision timeframe. I also thought it wasn't worth submitting until late August (believing they wouldn't be reviewing until then), but after realizing this had changed, decided to finish up and submit asap. Ideally, I would like to get a decision before I have to pull the trigger on other apps for Rd1.

My profile is as follows:

Age: 26, White Male
WE: 5 years in Supply Chain Management at major airline (would like to transition to consulting)
GPA: 3.8 at state school
Extracurriculars: Not extensive, but a couple of interesting things
GMAT: 750 - 48Q/44V

I submitted my ED application 7.5 weeks ago. So far, no response. I had expected them to update status within 6 weeks or so...

Hopefully, I hear back sometime this week...

Good luck! That will be cutting it close as most R1 deadlines are early or mid-October, which is roughly 8 weeks away.
