I submitted my application on 8/6 and it was incomplete as my recommenders had not subtmitted the recommendations. On last Friday they both completed the recommendation, however it still says incomplete.

Has anyone been in this situation? How long does it take to become complete?

Usually 24 hours......if tomorrow it isn't complete you can call.

Educ: Ivy
Focus: healthcare P/E
Work exp: 2 yrs at top consulting firm; 1 yr so far at management, financial level role at healthcare start-up (now a Goldman Sachs portfolio company)

15 days and counting my interviewer didnt submit his report. I actually had pretty solid connection with the interview meaning that our firms work together alot and I coincidentally interviewed with him. I heard from a colleague this guy is now on vacation this week and next. This is a joke. The shame is that I think the interview went really well. But if it takes this guy 4 weeks to submit my report, its inexcusable

I complete 10 weeks today since going "under review". No word yet.

This is definitely longer than I thought it would take , especially given that I submitted in June...

It seems as though this year things are taking longer....

I called today to ask about jterm decision timetable and was told 8-12 wks to hear abt interview/get dinged and if interviewed add several weeks to the 8-12.

This certainly doesn't seem like the 8 weeks or less "rolling decision" they make it out to be.

People on this board are 8 10 12 weeks in with nothing.

Why call it rolling deicision and open it for applications just to frustrate people?

hdcdude: Yeah. 10 weeks for "under review" seems too much. I submitted last week and was befuddled with people's craziness, but now I understand :-D My Gmail is open 24/7.

SaMoCU: I understand that reading 37 pages in this thread is too much, but I'm not sure why we need a separate thread for ED, and pretty sure that it would be locked, given that there was a similar situation with J-term.

6train: I bet you your interviewer thought the same when he interviewed. But I guess people soon forget :-D But still, you were invited and went thru interview. That's good stuff.

The reason why I too prefer separate threads for J term and regular/ED rounds is that we can prevent unnecessary heart attacks and testosterone boosts when we read that one has an admit or interview but later realize that one is really part of the other admissions round, which has totally independent timelines and review processes.

Think of the potential lives and stress we could save! :P
