CBS on their website states that they reach out to candidates within a week or 2 (max). So ideally you should hear from them in 7-10, provided there are no major holidays in the middle.

Yes, those common questions are the same as mentioned by others.

There is one behaviour question related to leadership experience. It is suggested that you can prepare some leadership or team working experience for those behaviour questions!

Has anyone gotten an adcom member as their interviewer? It looks like most people have gotten alumni so I'm curious whether or not it's a significant difference

No, I had mine with an adcom and it was quite the same as what other people got from alumni.

How long were your interviews? I vaguely remember seeing somewhere that they're 30 minutes long, but I've also seen people have hour long interviews.

Mine was 30 mins. It is supposed to be 30 mins and the adcom told me they basically will ask everyone the same sets of questions.

mine was closer to an hour -- i had an adcom member and it was not at all what I expected in terms of questions. They went deep into my career path and asked a lot of really specific questions about my experiences. Still had the Why CBS and LT Goals question though. Feeling a bit nervous, not sure how it went tbh

No trick question. Had an adcom as well, 30 minutes + some extra time in the end just to chitchat. Very standard questions of your resume, choices in colleges, teamwork, leadership, and why MBA / CBS / LT goal etc.

Definitely not -- most interviewers should be students, that's just what CBS normally does. The choice does not carry a weight cuz it's probably random based on the time / availability you chose.
