How many of y’all are also considering HBS this R2?

Start with an ambassador if nothin is working for you. Then build from there. Getting your foot in the door could have multiple routes- fireside chats, info sessions etc

Hi! Anyone else sees a new line in their checklist? I see "Awaiting" for my transcripts now (R1, interviewed)

Mine says received copy and a date next to it (ig of when it was rcvd). I didnt submit official scores so that says awaiting

Whats the likelihood of an offer after an interview?

Did you prepare with a professional, follow necessary frameworks to answer the questions and build rapport (your interviewer following up by picturing you at Booth)?

I don't know about framework but I do know that I was able to articulate why Booth is the right fit for me. I described the clubs, professors and most importantly the social impact club from the Rustandy center and how I would utilized working with one of the nonprofits to expand affordable housing which is my long term goal. The interviewer was very elated to hear how I managed my time when juggling multiple responsibilities as well as how I've addressed my weakness.

Some people are overconfident in evaluating their odds. I used to know this one guy who had a 240 GMAT (yes, they exist) and was telling everyone how he will get into Wharton because he has a brilliant profile - from a local non branded uni, low rich family, no business owned by self, and working in a regular job. And there are so many more🥶🥶
