Thanks again everybody! I actually went out and bought a CBS shirt already!
I think today is exactly 2 weeks since I went complete for those of you keeping track. It seems like a good number of applicants hear 10-20 days after going complete. Hang in there praz, js, and everybody else!
I also think that my interest/enthusiasm for Columbia helped me get the admit. It's very important to make sure your interviewer understands exactly why you want Columbia. Even if your interviewer doesn't ask detailed questions about why Columbia, you should still weave in your enthusiasm/reasoning into almost every one of your answers. I went into the interview knowing exactly which classes/professors interested me and why. I created a detailed list of clubs that I wanted to participate in and organizations that I wanted to help lead. As an entrepreneur, I couldn't help but come up with a few ideas on how to improve certain aspects of the Columbia experience for students who were interested in getting their feet wet in entrepreneurship/consulting. I pitched my ideas to my interviewer and ended up having a very interesting and enjoyable conversation.
For the infamous "where else are you applying" question, I told the complete truth. But I also made it pretty clear why Columbia is the best option for me. To this day, I am still not sure what the best approach is to answering this question. One of my goals was to convey my genuine interest in the school and I didn't want to jeopardize that by making up BS responses. The interviewers are alumni who have been in our shoes. They know that somebody who is applying to Columbia is probably also applying to another top tier school.
If anybody has any specific questions, feel free to PM me. I am no expert by any means, but I might be able to help.

Who is going to the Open House in February?!
