How will we know when an interview has submitted feedback? Does it automatically go from displaying the interview message to "complete" status?

Any ED applicants want to comment on how long that takes? Also, once your file is "complete" can you pretty much get a decision within a few days or is it typical having to wait for a month?

The wait is KILLING ME :o

you will get an email that your status has changed.
after you log in to the status check web site, you will see a status that says something along the lines of:

Message Your interview is complete and we have received feedback from your interviewer. Thank you for interviewing.

I'll be interviewing with a CBS alum in my country next week. Hopefully I won't follow my Wharton/Duke trend this time and be the absolute last GMATclubber to interview for the round, and will most definitely post my feedback up here afterward.

I am also interested in hearing this question answered. It seems as though there is a direct correlation between the speed with which you are admitted post your file going complete and their interest in you. If the wait goes past 2 weeks, it seems that most end up either WL or Dinged.

I was interviewed this past Monday and my app went complete just a couple of days ago.

Let the waiting begin!

I think the key is that you can get an interview invite at any point in the review process. If the first reader of your app loves you then he/she can invite you to interview before anyone else has read your app. In this case, after you complete your interview, it might take a LONG time to hear back because other adcom members still have to go through your application. So plenty of these candidates will end up being dinged down the line.

Or you could be invited to interview after your app was thoroughly read by a few adcom members. I think in this case, the adcom is already set on admitting you and is just waiting to see the outcome of the interview. If the interview outcome is positive, then you get admitted pretty quickly because there is nobody else left to review your application.

The people who hear within 2 weeks are probably the people in this later category.
