Those who have already heard back after their interviews, how long did it take? Someone on Clearadmit posted an acceptance a day after their interview, is that the norm or are you all hearing back that fast?

It does seem sus, but what would the poster gain from trolling random people online lol?

If you look last year, there was a similar submission of a J-term candidate who received an acceptance 2 or 3 days after having their interview feedback submitted. I don't think the ClearAdmit poster is misrepresenting.

EDIT: Also, the admissions process is holistic. That's really rude and assumptive of you to dimiss them because of their nationality and having ONLY a 740 GMAT which is 97 percentile. Get over yourself.

J-term application:

Applied 25/08
Invited to interview 15/09
Interviewed 24/09
Feedback submitted 24/09

Haven't heard back

Acceptance offer received this morning for J-Term. They called me but call didn't go properly through, so they sent me an e-mail afterward.
To keep up the good vibes for those that have below 700 scores: My GMAT score was 690 (driven by high verbal scores--quant was below 50%)

I'm Indian and not trying to be rude or discount anyone's achievements. It just seems highly unrealistic to me given the timeline of 95%+ other candidates. Sure, if the person was in a bit more of a unique field or demographic, may have been more plausible. Happy for them if they did indeed get admitted / hear back quickly.

That's fair, but you already acknowledge that there's precedent for the other 5% to be on a different timeline. Seems more logical that this person is part of the 5% versus not being truthful. Anyways, just another data point. I did not mean to be so combative, I apologize. I hope we all hear back soon whether it's for an interview invite or a final decision.

People, let’s not waste energy thinking if someone is trolling or not, if the timeline is realistic or not. We don’t have the full picture of that person’s background besides their score, region and immediate goal post MBA. Each case is unique and some don’t follow a “rule” we stipulate from the internet.

Focus your energy in your application and what you can do best to move to where you want to get.

Anyone got an interview invite - did it say at the start “congratulations”? Mine skipped directly to saying my name and
“ As part of the continuing evaluation of your application, the Admissions Committee is pleased to invite you to interview…”

I saw a screenshot of someone else’s invite and it said “congratulations {name}!”.

Am I overthinking this or yours was just like mine?

Has anyone who applied 9/7 or after heard back? Clearadmit seems very quiet on any interviews after 9/5.

Someone who applied on the 13th got an interview today (per ClearAdmit).
