There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
I submitted early decision. I have a friend who submitted regular decision and has not been contacted yet either. They mentioned they received alot of applications the last few weeks.
Does anyone have a proper interview guide / online resources to refer me to?
For context, I applied on February 13th and heard back on 3/12 for an interview invite (So roughly took 4.5 weeks, which is in-line with typical timeline)
There are quite a few general resources on the internet and even in this forum if you do a concentrated search for interview prep. In my experience with undergrad, i-banking and my mba interviews there really is no secret sauce.
My advice is to make sure you are intimately familiar with all the details in your application and essays. Be prepared to talk about what you wrote. Research the university itself and talk about why it would fit with you and your personal decision to pursue this degree. Also be prepared to talk about the weakest parts of your application. Finally, have some anecdotes from your professional career that showcase your talent and speak to how an MBA would make an impact in your life.
Spoke with another member of the AdCom yesterday for about 60 minutes. It was a pretty much another "tell me your story" phone conversation, very relaxed and informal. The person told me that I probably want to know what the AdCom thinks I need to improve on, they said there is nothing wrong that we see with your app, just wait.
Not sure what that means, hoping for the best / ready for the worst.
I received an invitation to interview asking for my availability over next 2-3 weeks, and then a message today saying I could only interview next week....anyone else receive this?
