My status still show completed, all the admitted and waitlisted applicants, did you status changed online, if yes then which place on the page

Did anyone interviewed by an alum in Bangalore, he was unprofessional and mentioning how Thankless job is interviewing, I dont think he was suppose to say that, he came rushing saying I have meeting in 10 minutes and wind up the things early, there are some oter examples also, he seems highly unprofessional

My status is not Dinged but still it started with the dreadful 'D' and says Denied. I am not surprised because my interview was screwed not by me but by person on the other side of the phone. Subjective? - hell ya, it is.

Just a general comment. For some reason my answering machine had been blocking the calls from the Johnson admissions office. (I think I had it set to block restricted numbers or something). I got an email today commenting to that effect.

So I guess the moral is.... don't set your phone/answering machine to block restricted calls! This would've saved me some fretting...

For those fretting about the interviews, I think I posted this earlier, but to re-iterate.

There are 3 "application managers". They are split something like a-h, i-n, p-z. by your LAST NAME. In the normal case, the manager will give out the last names TO BE REVIEWED that start earlier in the bucket. (so all a's, then b's, then c's to be reviewed). However, one of them said, she was starting to mix it up, (so a's, then h's, etc.).

Bottom like - it is semi-random when your app will go under review, with a bias towards those being reviewed earlier in the categories being notified of interviews first. However, if your last name begins with "a" and you have not been notified yet, this doesn't mean "no interview". (They could've started at "h", and gone backward).

For my fellow Round 2ers....this was linked to pagalguy from the BW forum yesterday:

"News from Cornell, R2 IV calls will start going out in first week of Jan. They haven't even looked at all the applications yet. Cornell says R2 application process will speed up after Dec17(notification deadline for R1). So i guess guys gives us all R2 applicants time to take care of other applications.

Not sure how accurate it is but I've decided to believe it for my own peace of mind. If I get a call before January, it's a great surprise. If not, maybe I can stop obsessing and enjoy the holidays....
