I wonder if it means that a decent amount of applicants can be expected to be off the WL. Has any R3 waitlister heard back from the school as yet?
I heard that some people are getting waitlist feedback from adcom members. Not sure if that's one step in the process or people get off automatically.

I haven't received the waitlist feedback...so does every WL get the feedback or the process works somewhat differently ?

Waitlist feedback is by invitation only. I'm not sure what purpose it serves and what correlation it has to actually getting admitted off the WL. Probably something PY applicants needs to share.

Grid is sent to everyone. WL feedback over the phone is offered only to a selected few and your chances of getting admitted at that point are much higher than any other applicant on the WL. Your goal is to send meaningful and regular updates so you can get that feedback session request from them.

I just saw another school post up stats on internship and full-time placement in investment banking and consulting at M/B/B. Can anyone post these statistics for Johnson as of today?

I have two questions about Cornell:

1) Does anyone know what Cornell's stance on grade disclosure is? Do they encourage students to disclose grades to recruiters or are the grades hidden across the board?
2) Does Cornell have something similar to Baker Scholars at HBS? In other words, students in the top 5%/10% are rewarded for their efforts?

1) There is no GND policy. However, you aren't required to list your GPA on your resume. Apparently the only companies that might ask about GPA are BB IBs and M/B/B.

2) No automatic scholarship for top x% of the class. There are 5 Fried Fellowships based on merit and leadership. All entrance scholarships are for 2 years.

Has anyone here received this WL feedback yet?
Tomorrow is R4 deposit date so hopefully, we could hear something after that.

Thanks rainmaker123. Yeah I sent 2 career progressions (1 was more essay form and the other one was just a small paragraph describing the event). By the way, these career progressions were not any promotions or salary raises, they were just 2 things that I took part in and led that were very important for me and my development. I also sent an essay restating my interest and a couple of other emails just staying in touch and asking about the wait list process.

Wow, that's a lot of update for 1 week. I am a waitlisted candidate from R3. Still haven't heard anything. I guess they are giving the personal feedback starting from waitlisted candidates from R1. Hope to hear something soon.

No, that wasn't in one week.. I didn't read your message thoroughly.. I got waitlisted in December, so I have sent all this stuff throughout the time I've been waiting. Actually I didn't send any updates since my waitlist feedback from a week ago.
