Hey!! I am an Johnson MBA student who will not be able to attend this year (good news for the WL's) but I also have a place I am looking to sublease.

An angle studio in Collegetown Center, very close to sage hall http://ithacarenting.com/ct_center.php

If you are interested please let me know, this is a pricey building but I am willing to negotiate.

Nope, didn't mention it. I was given until monday night to make my deposit. yikes! This is going to be a very hard decision!

Heh, if Cornell's yield is down in next year's stats, we'll know whose fault it is.

Can current students please comment on 1) how is the IB/Private Equity and Management Consulting recruiting at Cornell? 2) What % of the class get jobs in IB/Private Equity and Consulting 3) How is the International recruiting if students are interested in working outside the US?

I am particularly interested in international recruiting- do students need to make an effort themselves primarily?? Please advise !!! Thanks

Hey guys.. Just wanted to give the waitlisted candidates some news. A few days ago I withdrew my offer from Cornell. I hope this opens up a space for a gmatclub member on the waitlist. It was an extremely difficult decision since its such a great school.

Thanks for letting us know Carlosmq! Appreciate it, gives us some hope.
Yet as per my conversation with my admissions manager, they are already taking in a few of the waitlists but apparently none from Gmatclub (including me ). Anyway, fingers still crossed.

Interesting. When did you have this conversation? I just sent in an update this morning. Hope it turns positive. I have a feeling some internationals may get to know this week.

I received admission yesterday after being on the waitlist since R2. I am very excited to be attending. I wish those of you still waiting the best of luck. I know how hard the waiting is.

Congrats Phil... could you let me know if you are an International or domestic applicant? I am an international and getting a bit nervy about the visa process etc.

Congratulations Phil !!!

May I ask if you were invited for that waitlist feedback session prior to acceptance?

So a feedback session is required for a waitlist admit. Well that puts a nail on it for me this year.

Anyways, have an awesome time there Phil. Its a great school.

I so don't want to give up... but i may have to... however I havent seen any R3 WL'ers get invites? Are they moving from R1-R4... makes sense as folks on R1 and R2 have been waiting for 4-6 months.
