R2 applicant here. Strange (likely paranoid) question but when I previously logged into the Darden Symplicity system it would say "Your application: Thanks for submitting" or something to that effect. I just logged on now it just says "MBA." Does anyone know if this means my app has gone under review for an interview invite or am I just being nuts?

that happened to me late in jan for one day...the next day the message reappeared...probably some bug in their system

Unfortunately, not yet. But I sent an email this morning to Sara Neher, updating her on a few things that have changed in my resume in the last month. Hoping that might work some magic :roll:

For all admitted fellows... :)

I was wondering if you guys will go with the loan stuff?

Does anyone know when Darden will start to work on the loans? I haven't heard anything from them yet, and I am desperate to know something about this since I need that number on my Request for I20 form.

I emailed them twice already, but they are not responding at all.

I was told by the current students that the school will contact students for loan issues, but they are going really slow...312 is the deadline, and I want to give the Requestion for I20 form back to them for a I20 form by then.

Slow.... :|

Which request for I-20 form were you looking at ? Im an international as well, and there's one document entitled 'gradvisa09' that looks like its the one to fill out. I think I got it off the admitted students portal.

I emailed financial aid about the document too, as I wasnt sure whether thats where I indicate how much money I'd need to borrow.

Amanda, can't speak to the loan stuff, but I've emailed/called Darden a couple of times over the past few days (I never received my admitted students package) and have not heard back from them either. The mid-Atlantic region has been dumped on with a couple of feet of snow over the past few days - and it's not an area that's used to bad weather - so I think their offices have been closed and/or they're working with a smaller staff. Know it's frustrating - I think they just might not have a lot of people in the office.

Yes, that is the one I got. Just because I have nooooo idea of what number to put on the "loan" side, I need to know when Darden can start working on this sooo bad.

The deadline's approaching...but I guess it blames to the snowstorm.

Since I interviewed 3 weeks ago, I hope my memory's accurate. If I remember correctly, they were black and white photos with plain backgrounds. I'm not getting mine professionally done fwiw.

So...how large are the pics when put on the wall? It'd be kinda scary if they're in poster size...J/K :P

Bussiness attire....like wearing the suit and...sitting or standing? whole body or upper chest? Any ground rules? :?: :?:

Im a little confused as to what amount to put in the 'Darden' section on page 2 of that form. I assume its the amount that I need to borrow, but did email Amanda at Financial Aid about it a couple of days ago.

As for the picture; Im planning on just shooting it myself, in business attire, against a white background at home :) . Oh, and just from the mid-chest and up; no full body stuff for me :lol:

I probably should've paid more attention, but I think they were upper chest and up. I hate to crush your dreams of being on a poster, but they were each a few inches high at most. Definitely business attire as well.

just received a R2 interview invite!!
But dunno wht to do, since I live in Northern Thailand in villages since I work for a NGO... I hope they offer telephonic interview, that would already be hard arrange to arrange haha. :)

Anyone else having this same problem? - I submitted on 1/6 and at first my application status said "Your Application: MBA: Thank you for applying blah blah". For the last 2 weeks, it has just shown "Your Application: MBA:" and that's it. Anyone else getting this, who hasn't heard back yet about interview or ding?
