I had my interview yesterday morning. I'm always impressed with my Darden interactions. They do the best job selling themselves. Everyone is extremely friendly, from the receptionist at the admissions office to the current students to the professors. Very welcoming. The interview was actually a fun experience. I interviewed with a second year student. I walked through my story in an extremely conversation way. She interjected with some clarifying questions but I led the entire conversation. I ended with questions with her which were mostly about her experience. The entire interview took 45 minutes but the conversation was so good, we could have continued.

There were a TON of people there interviewing. I probably saw 30 students there in the morning. Best of luck to everyone who's interviewing!

She started with tell me your story.
But she asked some name a time when questions, too, like asking if I ever had leadership in a volunteer activity, and a time when I was challenged by others

looks like they are still sending out invites. i got mine today 9:01am EST. US based.

its odd, i was looking at the thread from last year and they announced Thanksgiving week that they would send out invites the first week of December. Up until that point, no one (maybe a few) had received an invite then on December 2nd a whole bunch did. Looks like its a little different this year as the invites are trickling out. Let's see what they say this week, best of luck to everyone that is waiting!!

Darden interview was by far the best I've had. Very conversational, I feel like they got more out if it and I did as well than any other format. Campus was incredible.

has anyone tried to contact darden? I tried calling the phone number listed on Darden's website, but I am always led to a messaging system. I wanted to find out about the interview invitation status and if the majority of the invites have gone out.

hey, i called them yesterday using the "local number" and yeah you need to make some selections for FT mba then the last name thing to get to a live person. For me it has always be Maggie (my last name starts with S) and she just told me the generic "we still looking at apps and invites given till deadline". She said she doesn't know the % invited either.... I think we would be in trouble if we dont get invite by mid Dec.

This whole process is making me very nervous! It's kinda taking a bit long for us prospective students to hear from Darden. I emailed Darden recently about my 'blank' status (has been blank since 2 weeks ago) and just received a generic response that my application is under review. Anyway let's keep our cool, cross our fingers firmly, and continue our anticipation!

I had to call Darden due to a glitch in their interviewing system and I must say the people I spoke with were tremendously nice. The person that I was on hold with actually tried to have a genuine conversation while she was looking up stuff on the computer. Kudos to their staff.

On a side note, in my limited conversations with the people at Ross - I felt the same way. Defintely a feel good atmosphere at both schools.
